Official Answer

If your doctor recommended a fiber-rich diet without seeds or nuts, there are plenty of options for you to choose from.
A diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, beans, and whole grains will help prevent the sac-like pouches from forming and getting infected.
Here are some suggested foods:
Vegetables-squash, spinach, peas, potatoes, sweet potatoes
Fruit-apples, pears, prunes
Beans-navy, pinto, black
Whole grains-bran cereal, bulgur

If your doctor recommended a low fiber diet to allow some time for your digestive tract to heal, then you will want to stay away from whole grains and fibrous fruits and vegetables. The diet would consist of white rice, pasta, cream of wheat, canned peaches, pears. mashed potatoes, eggs, milk.
