Do I need to blanch my foods before freezing?

After reading the forum am I right in that I can go like once a week and get all my fruits and veggies and clean and cut up and place them in a freezer bag in the freezer and then pull out and put in NB and blend?  And this is all raw food?  Some sites say u have to blanch and ice bath before freezing, but your saying raw is fine?

Some produce freezes better after being blanched and certain fruits retain their texture better than others when frozen (apples and root veggies become a strange texture in my opinion). It varies.
