Which ingredients can help with psoriasis?

First of all thank you NutriBullet.  I purchased mine about 5 months ago and around that same time was diagnosed with Diabetes.  I also have high blood pressure, obese and have psoriasis.  I am happy to report that after only using my NutriBullet a few months, exercise and eating right I am losing weight and after a recheck with my doctor last week he was so impressed with my levels that he has removed the diabetes diagnosis.  Now to work on getting all the weight off and I am sure the blood pressure meds will be going as well.  However my psoriasis has been flaring up and I am wondering what ingredients I could benefit from adding or using more of in my Nutri Blasts or what ingredients I should avoid.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Eating a balanced, healthy diet and decreasing foods that can be harmful to the body can help decrease symptoms. Eliminating refined salt, refined sugar, fried foods and fast food can help decrease symptoms. Including foods that boost the immune system can help keep your body in tip top shape to ward off psoriasis outbreaks. Vitamin D and Omega 3 fatty acids play are important for immune function, use foods like Reishi mushrooms, fortified non-dairy milks, flax seeds, chia seeds and hemps seeds to support healthy skin. Making Blasts with half veggies, ¼ fruits and low calorie liquids like water, coconut water and unsweetened almond milk will ensure you are getting the a low calorie, nutrient dense Blast. Moderate weight loss may help improve psoriasis. Using a Blast as a meal replacement is a great way to keep you feeling full and fuel your body with healthy nutrients.

I also have psoriasis, and have learned that foods that are high in beta carotene help with this condition. I try to include one or more in my smoothies...mangos, apricots, carrots, peaches, nectarines, pumpkin and leafy greens.
Remember your skin, hair and nails are part of the integument system of your body feeding this system will get you great results. The reds and oranges are especially good and the phyto nutrients in greens are essential to higher magnesium levels. Magnesium also will make you calmer, there is a reason animals that eat greens are not as aggressive as those that eat meat.
