Scharky, how beautiful that you are trying to help your friend stay strong during this ordeal. When someone is going through cancer treatment, they experience a number of side effects and nutrition is key in managing these side effects. I don't know much about this type of cancer but can imagine that the surgery/treatment will most likely leave your friend with some significant digestive issues and the doctor(s) has probably recommended eating certain foods and staying away from others.
It is recommended most of the time as a general rule that during treatment to consume only small amounts of food at a time throughout the day. For what it's worth, my suggestion is to find out which foods are on the okay to eat list and which ones your friend enjoys the most and then making a NutriBlast based upon those ingredients.
