Are frozen ingredients an option?

I am new to the Nutribullet and have a question or two.  There are so many different fruits/veggies that I'm getting overloaded with info, but my question is this:  Since many fruits have "seasons" is it ok to use frozen fruits or veggies as long as there is no added ingredients?  Also, does the fruits/veggies lose their punch if I were to make it in the am for lunch, take it to work?
