How can I combat muscle cramps and spasms?

I suffer from muscle cramps and spasms. Is there a specific program to follow to combat this?

Judy - do you have the Natural Healing Foods book? There is a section on the muscular system with some recipes.

Also, we have a great article about magnesium (an important mineral for muscle relaxation!) http://www.nutriliving.com/blog/magnificent-magnesium

Also, consider the other electrolytes: calcium, potassium, and sodium.
