What can you recommend for postpartum depression?

After having my daughter 3 years ago I have suffered from a mild depression, anxiety and extreme fear.  I feel like something bad is going to happen to my life and I feel as though I can't get my grounding. My horomones are all over the place.   I have been to several doctors and I refuse to take the antidepressants, etc.  I also suffer from severe anemic.  I feel like my body is toxic and I don't know where to start.  I just want to feel normal again.  Please help!!!

I would suggest seeking medical attention for what sounds like a hormone imbalance. It may be beneficial to see an endocrinologist to assess hormone status. I think food can help your body become more balanced but I wouldn't rely on it completely to fix everything. It sounds like there is a lot going on and it may help to talk to a professional about your feelings like a psychiatrist.

You can include foods that have been known to help ease symptoms of depression like hemp seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, walnuts, blueberries, kiwi, sweet potatoes, but again these will be slow, mild changes. Make sure you are eating a healthy diet of whole fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds and clean meats in moderation. Avoid processed foods, fried foods, pre-packaged foods.
