Dietitian's Answer

Hey there! Check out these responses here:

In addition, there are several possible causes of blood clots so I suggest discussing this further with your Dr. Some general suggestions for foods include:
Foods that have high salicylate content (the ingredient found in baby aspirin):
Fruits: apricots, oranges, blackberries, pineapple, blackcurrant, plums, blueberries, prunes, raspberries, strawberries, grapes, cranberries, tangerines, tomatoes
Spices, herbs and others: curry, cayenne, paprika, thyme, turmeric, ginger, dandelion, gingko, licorice and peppermint, wine, vinegar, honey, cider

Consume foods that are rich in vitamin E or omega-3 fatty acids (both of which have blood thinning properties and may reduce the risk of blood clots)

Garlic, curcumin (found in turmeric), and vitamin C may also be helpful.

In addition, vitamin K helps blood clot, so you may want to reduce those types of foods during this period.
