Do emulsified fruits and vegetables lose their fiber?

After 4 months of daily Nutri Bullet shakes, I found that I have "severe diverticulitis" - (through colonoscopy).  When the fruits and vegetables are emulsified, do they lose their fiber?

Official Answer

We were able to show that cell walls are broken down, so their may be a slight change in the ability of insoluble fiber to maintain its cleansing properties, but I wouldn't think it would be enough to make a big difference. YOu are blending to the point you would get if you chewed your food thoroughly.
