Can you freeze a mix of coconut water and kefir?

My wife and I made a 'concoction' of coconut water and a kefir starter as per David Wolfe's video on yeast infection. Yummy.... maybe:) However, the question is .... can the excess combination of coconut water and kefir starter be frozen to be used later?

I am not sure. Freezing the concoction may preserve the bacteria that cause the fermentation of it may kill them. I would guess that it would kill the bacteria, but you can always experiment. I would love to know what you find out!

Hi Sarah .... I would beHi Sarah .... I would be pleased to let you know, however, how would I know if it killed the bacteria? Doug
Great! If there is no fermentation and nothing happens in a couple of days when you start your batch, then it would be safe to say the bacteria have died.
