How can I increased my fiber intake with diverticulitis?

Hi, following bowel perforation & partial bowel removal caused by adhesions (from previous gynaecology operations) and severe diverticulitis, I've been advised to increase my fibre however I have to take medication to prevent constipation & my bowels twisting/obstruction. I've gained @ 20kg post- surgery, so weight loss is also a must! Please help!!

Incorporating a daily NutriBlast may be the best place to start. This will help you naturally up your fiber intake by including foods like dark leafy greens, brocolli, rolled oats, cooked quinoa, bananas, peaches, blueberries, turmeric, ginger, chia and hemp seeds. I would also suggest focusing on water intake, having adequate amounts of water throughout the day will help your GI tract function optimally and will help decrease constipation. Start by replacing 1 meal per day with a NutriBlast, this will help keep your calories lower and will ultimately assist with weight loss. I think it is most important to focus on getting your gut health back on track and then focus on weight loss as a secondary goal.
