Is it possible to find coconut water without sugar?

Is this just the way it's made? Currently Im using coconut milk that has 50 calories a cup and 1g sugar. The coconut water I found at the store had about 90 calories and approx 17-38g sugar depending on the brand. Am I just not looking in the right place?

Is that natural sugar or added? Because Im a gastric bypass patient I cant handle that much sugar plus the sugar in the fruit that I use
Its all natural. You may want to use water or unsweetened almond milk as your liquid which only has less than 1g of carbohydrates per serving.
I think you can find that out by looking at the ingredients, they all vary depending on the brand... The one I use is vita coco, it has 15g of sugar, but it's all natural.
Coconut water is loaded with sugar, 15 grams worth. Coconut milk is much better, if you want to stay away from sugar. 15 grams is almost 4 teaspoon fulls. Silk brand Coconut milk, unsweetened, has zero grams of sugar. http://silk.com/products/unsweetened-coconutmilk
Ok, I thought it was something about the brands I was looking at. Currently Im using coconut milk with 50 calories a cup and 1 g sugar, and I never use more than a half a cup. i think I'll probably stick with coconut milk
