What can I add to my morning blasts to help with acid reflux?
Not been on for a while...I've been suffering since my Dr put me on Lipitor/Atorvastatin for Cholesterol and Omeprazole for Acid Reflux. Terrible bone aches and pains, muscle aches, headaches, not sleeping, lethargic, the list goes on and on. Then I found a Forum with lots of other people with symptoms similar to mine and decided the side effects outweigh the benefits, so took matters into my own hands after having excrutiating pain inside my spine, followed by x-rays. I spoke to my Dr this morning and explained that I had taken myself off the medication and the reasoning behind doing so...the main benefit so far is that I feel 100 times better, the above symptoms have all but gone and I've even lost a little weight, sleeping better and far happier. I thought she was going to tell me off, but instead thought it was a good idea as I'm feeling better and to check my cholesterol levels in a few months time...phew! The only thing I have now is a little Acid Reflux from time to time. I do have a glass of water with dessert spoon of Apple Cider Vinegar and Honey, which helps, but is there anything else I can do with my morning blasts.

Slippery elm and fenugreek have been used as herbal remedies for digestive disorders including acid reflux. These may be something you want to look into.
