Romain lettuce is a great option in place of kale. You can also try celery, beetroot, beetroot leaves, zucchini, cucumber, lemon, oranges and melon as these are beneficial for your thyroid. A main concern when blasting for the thyroid is goitrogens, however, when you cook your dark greens, many of the goitrogens are deactivated. You may want to try cooked greens in your blast every once in awhile.
In addition to the foods listed above add cacao, cashews, almonds and wheat bran for additional magnesium. Magnesium is stored in the bones and is important for bone strength and health. For great sources of calcium use dried herbs like celery seed, thyme and non-gmo tofu, sesame seeds or tahini.
