Can I freeze spinach?

I only have the big bags of spinach available at the grocery store where I live and the bag goes bad before i have a chance to finish it so my question is can I freeze spinach and if i do will it mess up the nutrients?

Absolutely any greens can be frozen and eaten later. They freeze better once cooked however.

I was wondering the same thing, myself. I freeze collard greens and Kale all the time , but they are usually much smaller pieces cause they are already chopped up. Found this link. http://www.unconventionalkitchen.com/how-to-freeze-fruit-and-greens-for-green-smoothies/
I never cook Kale or Collard Greens, and freeze them right from the store.
