Which foods should I add to help control cholesterol and arthritis?

I suffer from high cholesterol, and arthritis ( mainly in my hands) I also have the fortunate / unfortunate inability to take meds! I am 72 years young, and have already had two endocardectomy one on the right one,  on the left. That being said, what blasts do I need to concentrate on to get my health to A1 condition.

I would focus on including anti-inflammatory foods in your diet like turmeric, ginger, berries, cacao, pineapple, dark leafy greens and broccoli. Here are some great recipes for cholesterol: http://www.nutriliving.com/recipes/blueberry-avocado-blast-0, http://www.nutriliving.com/recipes/peachy-ginger-blast, http://www.nutriliving.com/recipes/whirled-peas
