Am I sacrificing nutritional value if I wait to drink my smoothie?

I have a question regarding how soon after a smoothie is made, does the nutrients last?  I had heard that it is best to drink the smoothie immediately.  If I blast some veggies and fruit, and want to keep it a few hours until lunch time, am I sacrificing nutritional benefit?
