Is there a difference between rinsed kale and kale?

I was reading through the NutriBullet User Guide & Recipe Book and noticed in the stage three recipe ideas (p. 79) they swing between using rinsed kale and kale. Is there a nutritional reason for this or is it just purely inconsistent terminology?

It's a lack of consistency. We suggest rinsing all produce before putting it in your Blast!
