Are there any recipes to improve athletic performance that don't contain nuts?

I would like to make smoothies for my 15 year old son. I am looking for proper nutrients as well as help with athletic performance. He is a soccer player.

He has nut and seed allergies.. Any suggestions on recipes to meet his needs?
