Are there foods that cause mouth ulcers?

Hi, I have recently started using the NB but seem to be getting a lot of mouth ulsers. Can you advise on the food types that cause same so I can cut out or advise on some reference material. Thanks

Dietitian's Answer

Eating certain foods such as chocolate, coffee, peanuts, almonds, strawberries, cheese, tomatoes, and other acidic foods could lead to mouth ulcers. It's a matter of trial and error. Start with these foods and see if things get better.

Ulcers can also manifest from stress, anxiety, hormonal shifts, or certain medical conditions.

This is interesting as I have just started using my new NutriBullet in the last week and have the first crop of mouth ulcers I've had in at least 35 years! Nothing in my diet has changed except for using the Nutri Bullet nor am I any more stressed or hormonal than any other time... so obviously suspicion must fall to using the Nutri Bullet. :-)
