I always like to use a product in its most natural form when I can. The sweetness from the stevia plant comes mostly from its leaves so if you have access to the plant go ahead and use it! You can dry the leaves of the plant and grind them up into a sweet powder or steep the leaves in warm water to make a sweet syrup. Add 1/4 cup of stevia to leaves to 1 cup of warm water and steep for 24 hours. Would love to know if you have a stevia plant and if you are able to make your own!
