Should I use whole flax seeds for my nutribullet?

what if whole flax seeds don't crush or break down? Should I use ground flax seed? Will I get the same nutritional value from ground flax seed?

Flax seeds actually must be ground in order for your body to absorb the beneficial omega-3s. The NutriBullet should grind it up if you toss in the whole seeds, however you can also mill the seeds into a powder prior to adding to your Blast. If ground into a powder, be sure to store any leftover powder sealed tightly in a container in the fridge to prevent them from becoming rancid.
