For poor circulation, vegetables high in natural nitrates such as beets, basil, Swiss chard, beet greens, and arugula have been shown helpful. Also, potassium-rich foods like baked sweet potato, lentils, Swiss chard, avocado, and banana may help.

In addition, warming spices like cayenne pepper, ginger, cinnamon, turmeric, and garlic have been shown to improve blood flow. Other good options are citrus fruits due to their vitamin C, nuts and seeds due to their Vitamin E.
