Dietitian's Answer

It is absolutely fine to use frozen fruit in the NutriBullet; in fact, we recommend it, as it makes your Blasts cold and delicious! Our blades are specifically designed to break down tough seeds, skins, and fibers of nutritious fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds, so frozen fruit should not cause any problems if it is properly prepared.

Store-bought frozen fruit is generally prepped and ready to go straight into the NutriBullet. If you are freezing your own fruit, we recommend that you wash and dry the fruit before freezing in airtight plastic bags. Larger fruits like apples, pineapple, mango, pears, and bananas should be sliced into smaller pieces before freezing to ensure even extraction when Blasting in the NutriBullet.
