Do I use powdered turmeric?

It does not taste that great and what are the benefits?

You can use fresh or powdered. A little bit will do ya. Maybe 1/4 tsp powdered and a small 1/4"-1/2" chunk of fresh.
It contains curcumin, shown to have amazing anti-inflammatory benefits.
