What is a good blast for endometriosis?

I have just been diagnosed with severe endometriosis in the pouch of Douglas (bowel). Would love to reduce the effects/improve prognosis through nutrition. Thanks!

Dietitian's Answer

While we cannot provide specific recommendations, I'm happy to share general suggestions that you can discuss with your personal healthcare provider.
To help reduce any pain symptoms, stick to anti-inflammatory foods such as these:
Reduce or eliminate any estrogenic foods such as soy.
Eat hormone-free meats and eliminate dairy (dairy alternatives such as almond milk, coconut or cashew that are fortified with calcium)
Eat foods rich in calcium and magnesium to help with any cramping
Foods rich in omega-3s like hemp seeds, walnuts, cold fatty fish can help reduce inflammation
Consider talking to a specialist in women's health and herbs or TCM.
