Dietitian's Answer

Individuals on blood thinner such as Coumadin and warfarin are limited to the amount of vitamin K they can have any one time. Vitamin K is often found in dark leafy green vegetables like kale and spinach. The key is to have consistent amount throughout the day rather than all of it at once. So for example, you may want to split 2 cups of spinach into 3 servings rather than have it in one salad.
