Having a high carbohydrate diet can stifle your weight loss when you are trying to be more aggressive with your plan. What I would recommend is including lean protein and high protein foods in most of your meals. It looks like often consume foods like fish and other seafoods that are great in protein and great in healthy fats. Other items include beans and legumes like white beans in moi moi that are high in fiber and slower to digest because of the fiber.
Another recommendation is to include a lot of vegetables and some fruits in your diet as snacks or in addition to make you feel more satisfied and fuller, longer. Carbs are not the the enemy. You can still consume carbs during your weight loss. Be sure to have adequate calories in your diet (not too much, not too little).
