Dark leafy greens are high in vitamin K, which can impact the effect of coumadin. However, if you are eating dark leafy greens consistently throughout the day, and not eating large quantities, your doctor can adjust your coumadin medication to reflect the levels of vitamin k in your body and that you are consuming.
