If I freeze small pieces of ginger and turmeric for smoothies should I peel them first?


I would like to freeze small cubes of ginger or turmeric to then add one cube to each smoothy at the time.

If you freeze them, should you peel them first?

It's up to you. I tend to toss in my ginger and turmeric without peeling (if I get organic), however you can also peel it and it'll be just as beneficial. I'm just lazy :)
