Dietitian's Answer

The Natural Medicines database notes that...Limited studies show that the herb Ginkgo biloba may return skin color in people with slow-spreading vitiligo. Other studies show that folic acid and vitamin B-12 plus sunlight may restore skin color for some people.
Other research shows that phenylalanine in combination with exposure to ultraviolet A light or sunlight, may help treat vitiligo.
Good sources of phenylalanine are eggs, chicken, liver, beef, milk, and soybeans. Other sources include spinach and leafy greens, and tofu.
Check in with a dermatologist to see what other treatment options may be available.

Ok, thank you
