Since L lysine is an amino acid it would be found more so in higher protein foods...
Legumes are your best plant-based source. Quinoa, amaranth, pistachios, and pumpkin seeds are also decent sources of lysine.
Good sources of lysine include:
Meat, specifically red meat, pork, and poultry
Cheese, particularly parmesan
Certain fish, such as cod and sardines
Soybeans, particularly tofu, isolated soy protein, and defatted soybean flour
Brewer's yeast, beans and other legumes, and dairy products also contain lysine.
