Do you have a healthy soup recipe for diabetics?

Most of our soups include more vegetables and less fruit therefore they are inherently lower on sugars found in fruit. What you need to find are more low glycemic vegetables like tomatoes, beets, greens, root vegetables, onion and celery to name a few. What I would suggest is adding protein like cooked chicken to increase protein content of your meal and slow down the sugar from entering your bloodsteam.
