Can I use soy products instead of almond products?

I am not fond of almonds, or any of their products. I prefer using soy (for which us, women need & heart health) only.

Dietitian's Answer

If you do not have any type of soy allergy or intolerance then by all means yes. If using soy, opt for organic to ensure it is not genetically modified. I suggest limiting the amount of soy you consume overall. While the jury is still out on the benefits or risks of too much soy consumption, it's best to play it on the safe side. Try other non-dairy alternatives like rice, coconut, oat, etc.
