Is it possible to over blend and destroy the goodness in my ingredients?

There are three things that can destroy nutrients...those are heat, light and air. In addition to possibly overheating the machine (if used for more than 60 seconds at a time), you would be incorporating more air and generating more heat, therefore nutrients would start to reduce. This however would be a gradual reduction. For the most bang for your nutritional buck, we suggest letting the machine run for 30-60 seconds.
