I was told that blending fruit changes the sugar content is this true?

Not really. The sugar type and the sugar content between 10 oranges unblended and 10 oranges blended are the same. But, we are more likely to consume 10 oranges blended (like orange juice) then when you have to peel them, chew them, and eat 10 of them. Therefore, when you blend fruits in a large quantity, you are also more likely to consume a more concentrated amount of sugar.
