I am insulin resistant. What recipes are best to use?

I was gifted a Nutribullet yesterday and logged on to the site and saw an article on insulin resistance. I would like to know what recipes I can use to help me.

First line of defense would be weight loss (if appropriate) and exercise, These are considered the best treatments for restoring the body's ability to respond to insulin normally. Dietary-wise I'd recommend a anti-inflammatory Mediterranean style diet that is low in processed carbs, higher in healthy fats and lean protein and most importantly low in sugar.
