I'm allergic to leafy greens (some fruits too), what can I use instead?

I'm allergic to most green vegetables including leafy greens, peas, green beans, sprouts etc, and some fruits (apple, pear, strawberry, peach, melon etc). What can I use instead of the greens?

Dietitian's Answer

You didn't list broccoli or cauliflower...those may work. Also take a look at this list to see if there's anything you can eat:
If all greens won't work then try using other veggies like carrot, zucchini, squash, tomato, etc. Use what you can. To help find recipes using those ingredients, search right here on NutriLiving. If a recipe includes a food you are allergic to then either omit it or replace with something similar that you can consume.
