Dietitian's Answer

Resistant starch is a good thing, it acts like fiber and can actually help build good gut flora! Foods with resistant starch include a slightly green/unripe banana, cooked then cooled sweet potato or potato, rolled oats, green peas, lentils, and cooked then cooled/cold pasta.
