What can I replace potatoes with, due to an allergy?

Potatoes can also be replaced with: bananas, melons, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, oranges, tomatoes and peanuts.
I was just tested and feeling like I will feel deprived because potatoes, bananas, watermelon, oranges, and tomatoes were staples in my diet.

Dietitian's Answer

If you can, I'd try sweet potatoes. Otherwise, a complex carbohydrate like oats/oatmeal, quinoa or brown rice gives you the carbohydrates you need but not the allergens you need to limit.
