Fresh fruits and vegetables can help lower your cholesterol. In addition, lowering the amount of fried foods and meat and poultry that you consume during the week can help lower your cholesterol too. You also want to add more fiber to your diet and smoothies such as veggies, chia seeds, flax seeds, and make sure you leave all the peel in your fruit and veggies.
