iIs it ok to use sweetex or other artifical sweeteners?

It is best to use natural ingredients to sweeten your smoothie like fruits. If it is not sweet enough, you can use liquids like coconut water. To off-set the sugar content, you should add things that have high amounts of fiber like vegetables, and oats in addition to nuts and seeds that slows the sugar from entering into your bloodstream. If you do not want to add more calories to your smoothie without more ingredients, artificial sweeteners should be last resort to make a smoothie sweeter.
