Why are carbs extremely high in the recipes?

Why are the carbs in all NutriBullet recipes extremely high I want to lose not gain
I work out 3,4 to 5 times a week. I bought this product to help me lose weight not gain

Fruits and vegetables are carbohydrates therefore on our nutrition facts you often see a high carbohydrate content. What you should focus on is the amount of sugar and fiber in the nutrition content. If you would like to have lower amount of sugars, you should add vegetables and nuts and seeds that are high in fiber, proteins, and fats.
