I have the nutribullet how do I put ALL the ingredients in it that you call for?

Do I mash everything down so I can get all the ingredients in the amounts called for? Thanks

We suggest starting with the greens, then add the fruits, nuts, seeds, or other protein powder and banana. Finally, load your liquids to the MAX line. Twist on your blade then blend!

I find it odd that the recipes sometimes call for far more ingredients than will fit in the tall cup. When someone else asked this, the answer I saw said "cut down on the portions". But, you who are creating the recipes, know how much room is in the cup. Yes? Why not give us amounts that will neatly fit? Thanks!
