I used chocolate cashew milk: 1/2 cup, then filled with water to 3/4. Just about one tablespoon of local wildflower honey. Just one tablespoon of raw cacao. I think this is fantastic! Little more thin than you expect pudding maybe. I think it'd make a great pudding pop too.
My go to chocolate fix! I have lost the desire for other chocolate deserts*

No way possible that this is 544 calories.. I came up with about 350.. But more importantly, is that it's made with ingredients that are good for you. Not a bunch of processed crap!

How do you know when the pudding is ready?
As a diabetic, I used a single dropper full of liquid stevia instead of honey in this recipe and had great results and NO blood sugar spike whatsoever. Even my non-diabetic family members thought it was delicious.
There would only be around 50 carbs TOPS in this recipe. 1 tbsp chia =5; 1 tbsp cacao = 3; 1 tbsp honey = 17; 1 c unsweetened almond milk = 1. Very inaccurate nutrition info here...

This recipe sounds really good but I would have to agree with the author above that it's way too many calories for a weight-loss recipe.

Far too many calories and carbohydrates to even be considered healthy! Plenty of other ways to get antioxidants or iron. The 62.4 net carbs will convert to 12.5 teaspoons of sugar in the body. The entire 5 quarts of blood that an adult has only carries 1/2 to 1 tsp. So, in will need to store this big bolus as fat to keep from a severely elevated glucose level. Much eating like this will cause obesity and diabetes! Shame on you!
