Hangover Smoothie

Hangover Smoothie

Tough morning? Don't worry - no judgments here! As a matter of fact, this smoothie will help calm whatever ill feelings you're left with the morning after a hectic night out.

It's got just the ingredients you need: coconut water will help you rehydrate, restoring lost electrolytes, while banana will help replenish lost potassium due to alcohol's diuretic effects. Ginger reduces feelings of nausea and motion sickness and oats will give you that final energy boost you'll need to fight off morning fatigue.

And even if your night out wasn't that hectic, this smoothie still makes an excellent breakfast, filling you up without weighing you down.

Should you peel the ginger, or does it not matter? In the photo it has the skin on so I wondered....

This was ok but tastes too much of the spirulina that's in the Super Food Cleansing Greens. Next time I make it, I'll use 1 teaspoon instead of the tablespoon that the recipe calls for. A teaspoon is even considered a "serving", I think they just want you to use up the product faster.

I have really been enjoying trying these recipes and sharing them with my friends and family, via Facebook. Which, increases your customer base and boost your business. ;-) I've seen the SuperFood Cleansing Greens product you sell in several recipes. When I was reading the ingredients, I was shocked to see it have a "Prop 65 warning, that this product contains a chemical know by the state of California to cause birth defects and other reproductive harm." Now, we are investing in these recipes for health benefits. I cannot possibly give this product to my teenage daughter! What could be a healthy substitute for this?

I thought this looked interesting until I saw the carbs and calories. Not healthy for me.

OK so i did some substitutions based of what i had available and this is ok. Definitely do not use the Super Boast with Cacaoand other ingredients, give an odd taste to the smoothie. Also if you are not a fan of coconut flavor be very conservative with the coconut water, the flavor is really strong. Over all not one of my favs but not horrible either
