  • Add the first cup oats, brown sugar, flax seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to a Tall Cup and blend until the oats and flax seeds are powdered.
  • Add the remaining cup of oats and pulse until the oats are chopped, but not completely powdered.
  • Pour the contents into a medium-sized mixing bowl and stir in the nuts and dried fruit.
  • Portion the instant oatmeal into six jars, containers, or plastic bags.
  • To make the instant oatmeal, add 1-1/2 cups (depending on desired consistency) of hot water, milk, or non-dairy milk of your choice. Stir, allowing the oats to soak up the liquid.
