What's a good substitute for ice cubes that won't offset a recipe's intended purpose?

So if the smoothies call for greek yogurt, what can be used in it's place? This one already has a banana in it. I don't do dairy, thank you.

peanut butter has an average of 16 grams of fat and almost 200 calories per serving. I would use PB2 .it is a powdered peanut butter with 45 calories per serving and only 1.5 grams of fat. You can also add water to it to use as peanut butter and other recipes. It tastes amazing.

I'd like to try this recipe but I don't like cacao, do I have to have it or is it just for flavor? If it's needed what can I sub it with?

It's 100% chocolate without the sugar. U can get it as a bakers bar or nibs(pieces/shaved), very healthy when mixed with other foods. But really not by itself

First thing I noticed, why peanut butter? Maybe taste good but not so healthy. Maybe almond butter is better.

What can be used instead of Cacao? I am real sensitive to caffeine.
You could try maca or lucuma or carob. Those both have a rich flavor like chocolate and carob is one of the best cacao replacements that I know of.

I like the concept of this blast. The hardest thing to do when you get older is getting that motor running. We older people need all the help we can get I tried the ingredients as written but I added 3 tbsp. of whey protein. The only thing I didn't like was the sour flavor of the Greek yogurt. Can the yogurt be replace by almond milk?

It's too bad you don't like the Greek yogurt. I've had to acquire a taste for it and I now prefer it to regular sweetened nonfat fruit yogurt. And the Greek stuff is so much better for the body.
First post and I have a general question for everyone that pertains to the above recipe as well as all recipes that have banana in the ingredients. What would everyone recommend as a replacement for recipes that call for a banana. I absolutely hate banana's and it seems like every recipe that looks tasty calls for a banana. Can I just leave it out or should it be replaced. I want to get the most out of these recipes without the banana and still get the intended benefits. Thanks so much for everybody's help. -Andrew
Is there any other ingredient that could be used in place of Greek Yogurt?
Could u substitute chocolate whey protein powder for cacao?

Is it best to mill before extracting such ingredients as flax seed, walnuts, almonds, etc. Will it better to absorb than if I were to add these ingredients whole then extract
