Signs and Symptoms
Joint pain is a symptom that may result from various injuries or conditions (arthritis, gout, bursitis, lupus, etc.) and is marked by any uncomfortable pain and/or stiffness in the vicinity where two bones meet, or the joints. Joint pain can be acute or chronic and the pain can range from mild to debilitating.
Rest and exercise are both important to bone health, so finding the right balance is crucial. Medications, such as NSAIDS may help relieve pain and swelling, and some topical solutions have been shown to help, as well.
